Wooden multi layer floors Narowood Dream are thanks to their unique appearance and technical characteristics suitable for residential areas, where their structure creates unique appearance. Thanks to the surface treatment from production, they are the optimum choice for gaining warm and elegant wooden floor in relatively short time. Narowood Dream floors are in case the wood species are chosen carefully, suitable also for use in office areas (we reccommend wood species with higher bulk density, i.e. „hard“ wood species).
The material is composed for those customers, who want quality massive wooden floor. Dividing the floor into two layers brings many advantages, např. eg. minimization of problems with expansion or shrinking of the floor, which is partially eliminated by its sandwich composition. But because this is a natural material product, it is not possible to evade the deformations completely. But these changes surface unlike with whole massive floors only when reaching limit values of humidity and temperature.
Two layer parquets Narowood Dream are provided with groove and tongue. Sandwich composition of the floor consists of bottom oak load bearing layer of lamellas and top step on layer, which is 6 mm thick (for total thickness of 14 mm) or 4 mm thick (for total thickness 11 mm) from the tree species according to the personal choice of the customer. The floor is surface treated using 5 layers of UV hardened lacquer, that is why it doesn’t have to be further treated after laying.

The floor is thanks to its low construction height very suitable for the combination with floor heating.
Complete maintenance manual – for download • It is necessary to keep ideal climate in the space, where the parquets are laid, this means temperature between 20-22 oC and 40-55% relative air humidity, because at higher air humidity the parquets increase their volume – absorb moisture. At lower humidity the moisture gets out of parquets and they loose their volume.
• Newly laid floors are only dry cleaned during the first weeks (sweeping or vacuum cleaning). • Impregnation of joints after laying minimizes the risk of surface expansion caused by moisture. The CC-preparation for joints impregnation proved the best among many products. • For regular removal of dirt we recommend the CC- Parquet care preparation. • Furniture legs have to be provided with felt pads and heavy pieces of furniture have to be transported very carefully. We recommend special plastic plate under swivel chairs.

• Wood should never be damp or wet for longer time. The results are changes of shape and greying.
• Surface treatment is naturally abraded depending on the level of loading. Therefore we recommend regular treatment of the floor by the CC- Shine for parquets, or CC – Matt for parquets preparation.
